The multifunctional overhead crane is primarily installed in the carbon anode workshop. The trolley serves as the main operating center of the multi-functional roasting overhead crane. Different with traditional bridge crane trolley, the multifunctional roasting overhead crane mainly consists of the trolley running mechanism, material handling and de-dusting system, trolley frame, driver's cab, and anode fixture.

During operation, the trolley of the multifunctional carbon anode overhead crane runs on the top track of the main beam of the gantry crane. The trolley with components such as a cyclone dust collector, filling material storage bin, air cooler, and dust discharge device to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

The operation of the multi-functional anode carbon overhead crane begins by using the anode fixture to clamp the material on the chain conveyor and deliver it to the roasting furnace for loading operations. Then, using the suction pipe, the filling material is extracted from the roasting furnace for dust classification operations. The suction pipe is used for cleaning the pipeline and periodically removing dust. The filling material is added to the roasting furnace through the discharge pipe to assist in the transportation of the burner device using a crane.
